General Tax Information

Iosco Township collects summer and winter taxes for the current tax year. Previous years must be paid at the Livingston County Treasurer’s Office.

Payment can be made in person at the hall, drop box located at the hall to the side of the north door, on-line or by mail. Please make checks out to Iosco Township.

Property tax information is now available online. With a simple user name and password, you can see your property information for free.

To PAY your property tax online, click on the above link. On the left hand side of the page, click Current Tax Payments. Enter your address, follow the directions.

Summer Taxes:

Summer taxes are mailed out July 1st. They are due September 14th. Extra collection hours are available; please call the hall at (517)223-9545.

The last day taxes are payable without penalty, the treasurer’s office is open from 9am to 5pm. This is usually September 14th, unless the 14th. falls on a weekend. If it does, the office will be open the next available business day.

Summer deferment forms are available on line (Michigan Department of Treasury) or at our office. They must be filled out and returned to the township office by September 14th.

Winter Taxes:

Winter taxes are mailed December 1st. The last day taxes are payable without penalty, the treasurer’s office is open from 9am to 5pm. This is usually February14th, unless the 14th. falls on a weekend. If it does, the office will be open the next available business day. The office will be open Feb. 29,2024,  from 9am to 5pm.
